An unlikely source just unveiled their newest phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain this week. If you're an athlete or just an individual who enjoys working out, this is a phone you might be interested in.
It's the Puma Phone by Puma, the company that we all know and love for their great shoes and fitness gear. Their new phone will be hitting Puma stores in early April. It has all the features you'd expect from any newly released phone, like, touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, video calls, GPS, etc. etc.
What you really want to know about is its sporty features! The Puma Phone boasts a GPS run tracker and GPS bike speedometer, so after your workout you may track how fast you travelled, plus how far and even see it mapped out! While you're getting your sweat on outside you'll be simultaneously charging your phone. How? With its built-in solar panel, that will tell you exactly how much power its gotten from the sun with messages like, "25 messages powered by the sun." The phone also houses an analogue stopwatch, a pedometer and a yachting compass. We all need tunes while we workout and the new mobile device has that covered as well with a built-in radio and a scratching turntable app you can use to scratch your MP3s.
This phone looks like a whole lot of fun with features such as Puma icon messaging (its very own language) and a resident puma named Dylan. Perhaps not the phone for a serious business person, but definitely the phone for fitness fiends with a fun side!
