Dr. John Gannage graduated from University of Toronto medical school in 1990 and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He has obtained two diplomas in Homeopathy. He maintains an active medical licence in good standing from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Dr. Gannage is the medical director of Markham Integrative Medicine, where he has been emphasizing prevention and treatment of chronic disease through nutrition, drainage, detoxification and reduction of oxidative stress, while addressing the underlying cause of disease using biomedical modalities. In addition, Dr. Gannage has been administering Chelation Therapy since 1999, in which he is specifically trained, and has also received training in Oxidative Medicine and Lipid Exchange Therapy. He is a Defeat Autism Now clinician, member of the Canadian Complementary Medicine Association (CCMA), the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), the Canadian Society of Orthomolecular Medicine (CSOM), the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) and Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (CAPE). Dr. Gannage is a principal investigator for TACT (Trial to Assess Chelation Therapy). He regularly educates the community and other practitioners through public presentations, has appeared on radio, and written numerous articles for publication
