
Guests at ACAM's Spring Education Summit are invited to join Cyrex Laboratories for a healthy breakfast and a lecture from Aristo Vojdani, PhD, MSc, CLS, on: Array 5 - Systemic Autoimmune Reactivity Screen: Antibody Predictors of Complex Disease, on Friday, May 4th from 6:15AM - 7:45AM.
By the end of this presentation, the attendees will:
1. Be able to understand the immune response that leads to autoimmunity
2. Be able to recognize and assess at-risk patients
3. Be able to apply corresponding antigens to specific autoimmune disorders
About the Summit:
ACAM's Spring 2012 Education Summit is taking place May 3-6, 2012, at The Westin Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. Four days of integrative medicine workshops will be offered on the topics of Chelation Therapy, Hormones, Biopuncture, Lyme Disease, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and Oxidative Medicine. Guests have the opportunity to earn up to 22.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ over the duration of the Summit.
The Summit's Solutions Center will feature over 50 companies that support the integrative medicine community and will have representatives eager to chat about their various business solutions. About the Speaker:
ACAM’s 2009 Linus Pauling Award recipient, Aristo Vojdani obtained his Ph.D. in the field of microbiology and clinical immunology with postdoctoral studies in tumor immunology. He is CEO and Technical Director of Immunosciences Lab., Inc.; a member of the editorial board of three scientific journals; and has published more than 100 articles in scientific journals. He is noted for his papers on autoimmunity and neuroimmunological diseases. In 2006, Dr. Vojdani was given the prestigious Herbert J. Rinkel Award by the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) for excellence in teaching the techniques of environmental medicine.
